Who We Are

Northshore Families Helping Families  (NFHF) is a non-profit, family driven resource center.  We are a member of Families Helping Families of Louisiana which is a network of ten family-directed resource centers.  NFHF are a group of families, who through our own experiences promote advocacy and are committed to reaching out to other families who have members with disabilities.  The term “disability” includes those disabilities that are physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, academic and intellectual/developmental delay.  Our resource center serves the parishes of St. Tammany, Washington, Tangipahoa, St. Helena and Livingston.

Northshore Families Helping Families offers these three services:

* Parent to Parent Support

   Vision:  is to strengthen, support and empower individuals who have a disability, and their families.
