Parent Conference “Dream Big Dreams”

Join us for our parent conference Friday March 9th through Saturday March 10th at the Holiday Inn Northshore in Hammond, La.  Space is limited so be sure to register today!  Dinner is provided Friday night with breakfast and lunch provided on Saturday.  Presenters are Kathie Snow, a parent and author with a website www.disabilityisnatural.com  full of information on a new way of thinking. Craig Blackburn is a 2000 graduate of Hahnville High School who has Down syndrome. He received his high school diploma meeting the same requirements as his classmates. Craig’s mission is ”to promote self-advocacy through demonstration of what each person is capable of through inclusion, self-determination, a belief in yourself and hard work. To empower others to incorporate the motto of “WE CAN” into every phase of their lives so that it becomes a way of life!”
